SystemThe system – networked, open and scalable The Vehicle Control Center enables smart connections between the vehicle, the driver, and the outside world. As a smart nerve center, the Vehicle Control Center combines many functions:
- The truck is opened up for numerous new and upgraded features: truck navigation, communication, infotainment, and telematics applications as well as HMI for vehicle functions such as a rear-view.
- Our Vehicle Control Center enables to control all relevant functions via a consistent HMI featuring the OEM's branding. This standardizes operation and display of the various features.
- By using scalable hardware and software, different vehicle types with varying equipment levels can be fitted with the same platform.
- Unit costs, cabling, and assembly time can be reduced, for example just one GSM or GPS module needs to be installed in the vehicle rather than several.
