Immobilizer / Receiver Control Module (RxM)

With this system, the vehicle can only be started once a successful key ID check has been carried out. For this purpose the key communicates with the transponder. The start is blocked in the event of a false identity. The latest generation of immobilizers integrates in addition communication for tire pressure monitoring, Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) or PAssive Start and Entry (PASE) in a single Receiver Control Module (RxM).
