Siemens VDO at the bauma 2007

Systems and components for reliable vehicles that can always be controlled

Regensburg, April 23, 2007

Siemens VDO is scheduled to attend the bauma 2007 (New Munich Trade Fair Centre, April 23–29, 2007, hall A6, booth 236) to present the various systems and components the automotive supplier offers for manufacturers of commercial vehicles and construction and work machinery. The highlight of the company’s presentation will be the rugged new Viewline instrumentation line. In the Viewline line of instruments, cutting-edge electronics are at work ensuring dependable service in the tough day-to-day work on construction sites and on the road.

Along with presenting its new water- and dirt-resistant instrumentation line, Viewline, Siemens VDO will also exhibit sensors and actuators, as well as pedal systems, at the fair in Munich. Because electronically controlled engines are becoming more and more prevalent, especially in the commercial vehicles segment, Siemens VDO offers electronic pedals for this segment. The pedals are highly intelligent, so that the driver can control the engine directly in any situation. At the same time, the driver can keep all of the vehicle’s functions in view via the Viewline instruments.
