The trading and aftermarket activities of SiemensVDO Automotive are bundled within Siemens VDO Trading. With the brands Siemens VDO, VDO and VDO Dayton, the product portfolio currently ranges from navigation, car multimedia and sophisticated car audio systems and vehicle spares such as fuel pumping units to speedometers, fleet management systems and special OEM series for industrial and marine applications.
Siemens VDO Trading holds a leading position in the automotive aftermarket. Wthe company has 1500 employees and it is present in over 80 countries, at over 10,000 workshops and in all relevant distribution channels. In line with the “One Face to the Customer” concept, the company conducts all its trading activities by implementing an organisation focussed on sales channels. Siemens VDO Trading is divided into four clearly defined “Market Segment Units” (MSU) which cover all customer segments from the classic car dealers and service businesses via fleet customers and the specialist consumer electronics markets to vehicle importers and independent parts dealers.
